First Week of Summer

With summer starting I am also starting to get into all the projects I have in mind for this 2 months...

Sometimes I wish there were lots of me so I could complete all the stuff I wanna do...

Of course, that would most likely end up in me getting a shotgun and taking the word "self-hate" to whole new level :/ (There can only be one of me! Except sometimes I wish I had a twin)

If anybody is wondering who the character in the picture is that's Noto Kanazawa (Its a trap!) from the series Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club , from the same creator of Axis Power Hetalia.

I am also planning to cosplay as her(him) this year but not until Chibi-Pa Motto in November:

Putting my plans aside. I am sure that most people have seem or heard of the anime Gurren Lagann, well I know about it cause my older brother is like a huge fan of the series (he repeated the last 7 episodes everyday for a whole month, and still does it occasionally). Anyway anybody who has watched the series MUST know about Lordgenome (The Spiral King) you know that old gross guy that is always surrounded by Lolis for some reason :

If you closely at the beginning you can see him when he was young, so are you telling me that he went from a cute shota boy into a disgusting evil muscular old guy?

And more importantly, is his obvious resemblance to Nia, when she had her hair short:

I am officially scared of aging, I couldn't care less before but now...just wow 0_0

Aside from that Issue I recently heard on Livejournal that the Kobato manga will be ending in the July Issue! Aw man! There's like 2 chapters left them, CLAMP better make the ending a happy one, not like the xxHolic one, because if that's what they consider happy, all my hopes for a happy ending are screwed.

Mockingbird's Anime Debut!!

Before getting to the new D.W episode rant, I would just like to say that I took the ACT today and survived! *Insert Unnecessary Epic Music Here* Well, I must say also that it was definitely easier than the SAT I took last saturday.

Now that the rambling about my life is over, onto the New Deadman Wonderland episode!!
Which was nice and all except Toto appearing for a few seconds made the whole thing better!! :D

I LOVE HOW THE ANIMATORS DREW HIM!!! HE IS SOO CUTE!! ❤❤

And his clothes resemble Shiro's clothes more than in the manga! His clothes in the manga were more purple:

Yep! There's definitely some differences.

His hair is darker shade of green and his shoes ARE green in the manga plus the circles on his sleeves are purple. Seriously I like how BONES did his design more. When I first saw him in the manga I was just sure that his clothes were more colored like Shiro's clothes.

Actually Mockingbird was in my Cosplay list for 2012. It was in the first 3 costumes I was gonna do:

First Day of Summer 2011!!

I can't believe summer is finally here! I also can't believe that next year I am finally gonna be a senior! A lot has happened since I last posted, I went to "Hatsume Fair" on Saturday (I so wanted to go both days ;_;), and not so long ago I went to the "Fantastic Mizu-Con Tea Party" which was reeally far away from where I live, My parents = not happy about it. Where I debuted my (half-assed) Seychelles cosplay, I haven't cut my bangs yet so, it didn't look very complete.

About the Best picture I could take of the costume, all the other are kinda crappy and dont show my face cause I kept trying to hide the fact that I didn't have bangs ;_; I really need to do another photo shoot for this costume, I am hoping for it to be at a beach with crystal clear water.

But right now I have another photo shoot in my schedule for my Kagura (from Gintama) cosplay, is going to be Sunday 19 at the Morikami Museum, I am going with my friend Carlos who also wants to take some pics of his Anbu in the gardens before moving to another state (I am gonna miss him! D':)

Right now I am trying to figure out is how I am going to get to Mizu-con on August, I know is months away, but I still don't have a fixed plan for it and I have to buy the ticket before July 1st or I am screwed with how much money I have to spend D:

Asuka Langely Soryou - Uniform Version (Friday)




















Everything is done, I just need to get the socks with the red stripe in them :P I would wear this one on Friday, the first day :)

I am still not sure which day to wear this one, the only thing left to be done for this cosplay is the emblem on her shirt, which I already attempted before, and it was a epic fail (Lol), and those white things at the side oh her head (which I am still not sure what they are).







Ichigo Momomiya - Maid Version




















By far my favorite costume, this took me and my dad 2 weeks to make O_O but it looks just like the original costume down to every ruffle and its heart shaped buttons in detail (okay the heart shaped buttons were my idea XD) But yeah, even the wig turned out awesome. I cant wait to wear this one to a con :D








Now with the cosplay issue aside I can say that the new part of the chapter for Kobato came out a while ago, as a matter of fact so long ago that this month is chapter comes out next week XD
Well here is my mini-summary of the chapter: [SPOILER ALERT]

Kobato Chapter 23-E





The chapter starts off, with Sayaka yelling at Okiura for not telling her about all the troubles Okiura is father has been causing them, and why didn't he tell her so they could work it out together (cause that's what being married is all about), then Fujimoto randomly shows up and says he finally approves of their relationship only if Okiura takes Sayaka far away from the gangsta daddy, where he can't reach them. I was kinda hoping that would be the case so Fujimoto would stop being distracted by Sayaka and focus on Kobato (yeah I know, this is me being selfish for the sake of one of my favorite pairings T_T )





But then Kobato had to butt in and started asking if Sayaka would be healed if Okiura is father wouldn't follow them anymore, and she said yes, and then she asked Fujimoto and he didn't know exactly what to say (or Kobato pretty much didn't give him enough time to answer in the first place)

After that she extended her arms to the sky, and says:

Ushagi comes down from the sky and time stops, and the chapter ends.

If there's one thing I have to say about the ending of this chapter is I do not like where this is going 0_0

My Drawings

Holy Crap is Sunday!! School tomorrow NOOOO!!! DX
This weekend went by too fast my only consolation is that Spring Break is getting closer!! :D

Anyway I did some drawings today, five in total. But I still have some other projects for other drawings that I want to finish first.
The one I am gonna finish right now is my drawing of Alfred ( America ). I already finished the drawing but I still need to color it.

I lowered the resolution because is not finished yet. I like how the drawing turned out, now I just need to figure out in what style I should paint it. I like to paint most of my drawings with a soft sketch like style. I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 btw. I hear paint Sai tool is better, but I'll stick with photoshop for now.
I'll upload the other drawings as soon as I finish them.

Cosplay Projects

Is been really stressful for me lately. I just dont seem to be strong enough to accept whats going on in my life right now. Or more like I refuse to accept my feelings. (´；ω；`)
Putting that aside, I have been working on my cosplays for the next con on march which is Hatsume Fair!! Yay! And the con is 2 days long, kinda short for a con but still good (there aren't many conventions close by to where I live ;_;)
Anyway I am doing two cosplays 1 per day XD and those are:

Rinka Urushiba from Tokyo ESP
&
Neko Fukuta from Animal Academy

This is the what I sew together (with the help of my dad) for Rinka is summer School Uniform.

I think I kinda mess up on the sailor flap and the gray areas of the sleeves. I had the costume stored all crumpled up in a bag and it needs some ironing done (BIG TIME).


This is what Rinka looks like. Not many people know about the manga yet. Is by the same creator of Ga Rei apparently but I never read or watched the series cause I heard it was Yuri (not a big fan of Yuri or Yaoi BTW) and it wasn't on my list of animes to watch.

The wig I bought on Ebay. I think its as close as I can get to her hairstyle and color, and I am satisfied with it. Rinka is suppose to be only half japanese and her mom is a "foreigner" apparently and thats what leads to her unusual haircolor, which a lot of characters often ask wether is natural or not. LOL

Neko Fukuta from Animal Academy. Is the main character of the manga, sorry I had to choose fanart to potrey her, since there aren't many pictures of her that I can use.
And besides it is the costume I made for her, to be honest this is the first full cosplay costume I ever made and I am gonna wear it until now? (yep!) the wig hasn't come on the mail yet, but according to the post office it should be here by Monday next week.

Getting Started

So I decided to start a blog so I could check how much I have accomplished after a certain period of time. My blog will cover from my daily life, to cosplay projects progress, and my latest drawings.

Today is friday, and like everybody else in this world, I love fridays. Just the though of being able to wake up late the next day is enough to make me happy.

Anyway today in my Web Design class we learned to do a flash site. The theme I chose for mine was VOCALOID -Project Diva based. I am glad I was able to finished it in time. My car animation one, before was a total failure. ;_; ( or rather I was too lazy )
We also got our report cards, and after the grade I got in said Car Project I am not surprised I got a C for the class so far, what's funny is the fact that I got a A in my other classes ( and I have 2 honor classes included there), and Web Design is pretty much my easiest class this semester. -__-
If anybody is wondering why I have a cupcake in the picture, it was one of my classmate's birthday and someone gave her cupcakes for a gift in the class before, which of course they disappeared within seconds after the bell rang, and everybody noticed she had cupcakes!!
